Editorial Policy and Method Sources

Clear about where the teaching comes from. Clear about what it does and does not claim.

BuildSelfEsteem publishes the English knowledge library for Feel Different. This page explains how the material is prepared, attributed, reviewed, and corrected.

Publishing standard

The method should be understandable without being exaggerated.

Feel Different is a teaching system created by Orlando Owen. BuildSelfEsteem publishes explanations of its central vocabulary and applications, including the Five Levels, Source Code, the Pathological Inner Critic, Meta-decision, Kugelübung, Emotional Navigation, self-esteem, purpose, talent, and Project Anxiety.

We write these ideas directly as Feel Different teaching. We do not present them as universal clinical facts, guarantees of change, or replacements for professional support when a reader needs care beyond education or coaching.

Primary method sources

Core Feel Different terms, exercises, distinctions, stories, and named practices are checked against the available Feel Different programme material before they are published as method teaching.

Contextual research

Research is used to explain adjacent concepts or context. It is never presented as proof that every element of a proprietary Feel Different practice is a clinical treatment or will produce the same result for every reader.

Clear attribution

The library identifies Orlando Owen as the creator of Feel Different. When a concept comes from another named author or framework, that attribution is kept visible rather than being passed off as original Feel Different teaching.

Corrections and review

Pages carry review information when it is relevant. If a reader finds an unclear, inaccurate, or poorly attributed statement, they can contact the team so it can be checked against the source record.

Research is context, not camouflage.

Where research is included, it is there to help readers place a topic in context. It does not turn coaching into therapy, establish a medical claim, or prove every specific Feel Different practice. The visible text and structured information should always say the same thing.

Read the method sources

Educational material has boundaries.

This library is not psychotherapy, diagnosis, medical care, crisis support, investment advice, legal advice, or a promise of a particular result. If a situation is severe, escalating, unsafe, or outside the scope of education, seek the qualified support that fits the situation.
