It should make you less dependent over time.
A useful method gives you tools you can use without the teacher standing beside you. Growth should increase your ability to meet life, not increase your need for the next dose of someone else.
Keep your authority
Personal development should leave you with more of yourself, not less: more ability to think, question, decide, and use what you have learned without handing your life to a teacher.

A big promise, a strong stage, or a confident teacher does not automatically make something useful or harmful. What matters is the structure of the relationship. Does the work give you tools and hand you back to yourself? Or does it make every doubt, payment, and outside opinion into a reason to depend on the person at the front?
Use these standards on anyone who wants to teach you. Including Feel Different™. A reader should never have to suspend judgment in order to learn something valuable.
Keep your judgment
A useful method gives you tools you can use without the teacher standing beside you. Growth should increase your ability to meet life, not increase your need for the next dose of someone else.
You should be able to ask why, disagree, compare what you are hearing with your own experience, and keep your right to say no.
A question is not proof that you are broken, disloyal, resistant, or in need of more pressure. A good teacher can invite you to test an idea and decide for yourself.
Family, friends, qualified support, facts, and your own observation do not become enemies because you are learning something new.
No teacher’s interpretation should outrank what you can observe, what you know happened, or your right to check the facts.
A person’s worth, courage, or desire to change should not be measured by how much they spend or how quickly they buy.
Belonging, embarrassment, panic, or fear of being left behind are not a clean foundation for a person’s decisions.
A personal-development method has to be honest about what it is. Do not let anyone turn a teaching relationship into a substitute for care it cannot provide.
A teacher can share a method, a personal story, or participant experience. Those are not the same thing as a universal fact or a promise about what will happen to you.
The Feel Different™ view
Feel Different™ calls one familiar inner system the Pathological Inner Critic, or PIC. It uses pressure, prediction, comparison, humiliation, and fear to get control over your behaviour. It may sound like protection, but it keeps you small and reactive.
A teacher can use the same machinery from the outside: pressure to comply, predictions of what will happen if you leave, comparison with other people, humiliation for doubting, or fear of missing your only chance. That is not a relationship that builds sovereignty.
Sovereignty means taking your authority back: seeing clearly, questioning what does not fit, using what is useful, and refusing to let fear or approval make your decisions for you.

Questions people ask
The stated goal of Feel Different™ is sovereignty: more ability to think, decide, use the tools yourself, and act without handing authority to fear, approval, or a teacher. The complete KUGEL™ practice and other resources are available free before a reader needs to speak with anyone.
Treat that as information. A useful teaching relationship makes room for questions, outside perspective, and your right to decide. Doubt does not automatically prove that a teacher is right.
No. A useful method should increase your own capacity over time. It may include guidance, but the direction should be toward more independent judgment and practical ability, not less.
Sovereignty is Feel Different™’s term for inner self-government: taking responsibility, making decisions, holding boundaries, and becoming less controlled by fear, approval, or coercive authority.
Stay skeptical and use the same standards here. Read the material, use the free KUGEL™ practice on one real issue, and decide for yourself whether the teaching gives you something useful to keep.
