The Feel Different view
See what is really organising the response.
A delayed reply, a difficult conversation, a no, or the loss of closeness can activate a powerful feeling. Feel Different starts with that feeling, then asks what Source Code arrived beneath it. The inner sentence may be “I am unlovable,” “I am not enough,” or “They will always leave.” That sentence deserves to be seen before it becomes a verdict about your worth.
The Pathological Inner Critic can turn one interaction into a global attack on identity. It may tell you to chase, withdraw, please, control, or stop trying. Reciprocity offers another ground. It asks whether there is a balanced exchange of respect, attention, honesty, and participation. It allows you to care deeply without making another person the final authority over your self-respect.
A key distinction
Seeing your pattern does not excuse another person’s behaviour.
You can recognise the Source Code that rejection activated and still be clear about what happened in the relationship. The work is to separate the present fact from the old conclusion, then decide what self-respect and reciprocity require next.

A clear boundary
This is educational coaching material, not relationship counselling, clinical care, or legal advice. It does not promise a partner, teach control over attraction, or decide whether you should remain in a specific relationship.
